SINGAPORE, 27 August 2026 — The Food & Beverage Management Association (FBMA) held its Gala Dinner cum Inaugural Pinnacle Award 2026 at Goodwood Park Hotel, graced by Guest of Honour Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development. The event drew 290 attendees from across the food and beverage industry.

The inaugural Pinnacle Award recognised outstanding individuals across five categories: Emerging Leader, Restaurant Leader, Banquet Leader, Beverage Leader, and F&B Leader of the Year. The award was established to give the industry's frontline and management talent the recognition it has long deserved, spotlighting the people driving standards in restaurants, banquets, and beverage service across Singapore.

This year's award trophies were specially commissioned porcelain show plates, sponsored by Luzerne as Official Trophy Sponsor.

Held against the backdrop of Goodwood Park Hotel's historic ballroom, the gala brought together operators, suppliers, and industry partners for an evening celebrating the people behind Singapore's F&B scene — from established leaders to rising talent entering the trade.

The five winners were:
● Emerging Leader: Lee Kar Lok, Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore
● Restaurant Leader: Marcus Ong Kai Yan, Novotel Singapore on Stevens
● Banquet Leader: Logarajah Vijayakumaran, Far East Hospitality
● Beverage Leader: Adam Lee, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore
● F&B Leader of the Year: Stephen Moroney, Pan Pacific Singapore

In her address, Minister Rajah spoke on the Government's recent Marriage and Parenthood announcements at this year's National Day Rally, highlighting how stronger support for families ties in with a more sustainable manpower pipeline for the F&B sector. She noted that as the industry works to attract and retain talent, national policies supporting work-life balance and family formation play a direct role in building a resilient F&B workforce — making the inaugural Pinnacle Award winners timely examples of the leadership needed to carry the sector forward.
